Everett married Fannie Yates 23 Oct. 1919 . To this union four children were born , Virgil , Donna "Mae" , Norman , and an infant daughter that died at birth.
He had polio when he was young and walked with a limp. The limp got worse as he got older and had to walk with a cane.
Everett carried the mail in the Roy community, delivering the mail by horse and buggy.
He was also a farmer and handyman. He made and sold wooden shingles. Mae said her Dad could fix just about anything.
He died in the Cross Roads community at the age of 68.
Fannie is buried at Elmire Cemetery, Vacavill, California.
