Known as Brock, or Brack Gwinn. Helped with building the railroad over the Cascade Mountains. Lost his lower right arm in later years, due to a logging accident. Married, then divorced from Elizabeth Spurgeon, with whom he had two children: Vernon Elmer & Avice Emiline Gwinn. B.B. Gwinn died in Milton, Umatilla Co., Oregon. He is buried with his parents; William F. & Nancy Triplett Gwinn. His Parents, Uncle's family (Joseph L. Gwinn) & Grandmother, Rebecca Owens Gwinn, settled in WA Territory, after leaving Missouri during the Civil War.
