RIPON-Artheale Katherine Alf, 72, of rural Ripon passed away Sunday, February 5, 1995 at Sharps Memorial Hospital in San Diego, California.
She was born November 24, 1922 in the township of Nepeuskun, the daughter of George and Gertrude Splitt Crump. Artheale graduated from Berlin High School in 1942. November 23, 1944, she married Clifford Alf. They lived and farmed in the township of Ripon their entire lives.
Artheale is survived by two daughters; Penny (Kenneth) Reno of Sierra Vista, AZ.; Merikay (Jeffrey) Warnke of rural Ripon. Four grandchildren; Douglas (Leslie) Reno of Sierra Vista, AZ.; David Reno of Newport News, VA.; Nicole and Todd Warnke of rural Ripon. Two sisters; Georgene Cain of San Diego, CA.; Corinne Timmons of Green Valley, AZ.; one brother Theron Fritz and sister-in-law Dora Crump of rural Berlin and nieces and nephews.
Artheale was preceded in death by her husband Clifford and her parents.
Private inurnment will be in the Nepeuskun Cemetery at a later date.
