1844 Isaac was born in Maine but the family moved to Minnisota where he join the Union Army in Company A 8th Minnisota serving for 3 years during the Souix Indian outbreak in the Dakota Territory. After the war he married Maria Duling in Souix Falls, SD. They moved to California in 1876 settling in Los Angeles where they ran a livery stable on Spring Street. In 1891 they moved the family to Redlands and in 1901 build a home in San Jacinto where he owned the Billiard Palour until 1916 when a earthquake took the building down. Marie passed away in 1919. After a few years he sold the house and moved in with his daughter in Newport and died there in 1931.
