Margaret Dorothy Baird, 97, of Washington, Kansas died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Sr. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.
Mrs. Baird was born Margaret Dorothy Wohler on April 23, 1908, in Riley County. She married Floyd Baird on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1928 in Green. She was a homemaker and a clerk.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; two daughters, an infant and Eldred Baird; an infant son; and a great-grandson.
Survivors include two daughters, Marcia Mauer of Hastings, Neb., and Sharon Soudek of Topeka; three sons, Neil of Overland Park, Robert of Fort Scott and Roland of Washington; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven stepgreat-grandchildren; and 13 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Washington. Burial will be in Washington City Cemetery.
