Mrs. Baker was born Feb. 10 1910, to Garland Johnson and Neil Anderson Johnson in Exeter and came to Neosho as a teenager. For many years, she was a bookkeeper for McGinty's and for Frye & Gray Furniture Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a former member of the Audobon Society and PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
She is survived by a son, Gary, a sister, Theresa, two grandchildren, Christopher and Stephen and a great-granddaughter, Amanda.
Services, under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Clark Chapel of Memories with Dr. Todd Decker officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.
