Ed coached football and baseball, refereed football and umpired baseball in Panama City for many years. He enjoyed farming, fishing and hunting and was a member of Little Creek Hunting Club. He was Baptist by faith.
Ed is survived by his loving wife of 55 1/2 years, Brenda Williams; children, Ronda Caswell (Buddy) of Port St. Joe, Fla., Eddie Williams (Gay) of Jacksonville, Fla., Jeff Williams (Stacey) of Callaway, Fla., and Scott Williams (Tracy) of Panama City, Fla.; sister, Alfreda Roberts of Amarillo, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Ryan Caswell (Stephanie), Matthew Caswell (Holly), Timothy Caswell, Stephanie Frisbee (Justin), Tiffany Williams, Kimberly Williams, Diana Allen (Travis), Christina Williams (Kory Walker), Clinton Williams, Brayden Williams and Riley Williams; six great-grandchildren, Kallie, Sadie, Harper, McKenzie, Thomas and Millie.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Kent Forest Lawn Chapel at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James "Buddy" Caswell officiating. The family will receive friends and visitors on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Tom Nolan, John Beighle, Charlie Caswell, Greg Smith, Chris McGowin, David Woodford, Buddy Knight and Tommy Nolan. Honorary pallbearers will be the current and former members of the Little Creek Hunting Club.
