ADAMS, Rachel - {from Sugar Creek} We are sorry to report the death of our old friend and neighbor, Aunt Rachel Adams, who died at her home Saturday morning, Sept. 12, 1914 after a lingering illness of eleven weeks. The remains were laid to rest in the Pea Ridge cemetery.[Rogers Democrat, Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas, Sept. 17, 1914]

ADAMS, Rachel BULLING - Rachel Bulling was born May 8, 1844 and was married to Martin V. Adams December 14, 1833; died Sept. 12, 1914. Mr. Adams preceded her two years, six months and eight days. There were six children, five boys and one girl, the three oldest dying in infancy. The deceased professed religion and joined the Missionary Baptist church at New Discovery, Park Co., Ind. March 20, 1875. They moved to this country in October 1878 and transferred their membership from New Discovery to Pea Ridge Baptist church in a short time after coming to this country. Her age was 70 years, 6 months and 4 days. She leaves one sister living in Indiana. The funeral services were held at Pea Ridge Baptist church Saturday, September 13th, 1914, the sermon being preached by Rev. E.J. Adams and the remains laid to rest in the Pea Ridge cemetery.
