Jesse was first married to Mary Martha Rector. Their children were (1) Vern Tell Clore (married to Dorthy Mae Douglass Clore Greenlee. He then married Myrtle Ethel Effie Robbins Clore. Their chidren were: (1) Fred Leslie Clore -- his wife was Josephine Marjorie Collins Clore -- (2) Kenneth Russell Clore -- his wife was Frances Athaleen Van Fossan Clore -- (3) Bernice Myrtle Clore Wright Overpeck.

He, Jesse, had lived in Annapolis, Indiana since 1930, and he lived part-time in Danville, Illinois, as he worked at the C.E. & I Railroad Shop there. I can remember before W.W. II, taking lunch to my father, Vernie, who was a Blacksmith there, and stopping by the engine shop and talking to my grandfather Jesse. I used to spend weekends with him and my step-grandmother Effie when I was very young. Effie, always had a sewing basket ready for me when I arrived." "ROCKVILLE TRIBUNE NEWSPAPER - DECEMBER 30, 1948 JESSE CLORE, age 64 years old, passed away at 3 A.M. Monday, at his residence in Bloomingdale, Ind. (Annapolis). He is survived by his widow, Effie, a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Wright of Oakwood, Ill. Two sons, Fred Clore, of Perrysville and Kenneth Clore of Jamestown. A brother, Alfred Clore of Wallace and a sister, Margaret Shoaf of Kingman. Funeral services were held at eleven o'clock Wed. morning at the Branson Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Woodard officiating and music by Mrs. Frank Anderson. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery."

He was the son of - William M. & Elizabeth J.T. Stonebraker Clore. He first married, Mary Martha Rector, on the 24th of December in 1904 at Fountain County, Indiana; Two children born to this marriage were Vern Tell Clore & Thelma Lorene Clore. His wife, Mary, died on 24 February 1909 from a Tubercular Lung Abscess Rupture. He then married second, Myrtle Ethel "Effie" Robbins on 02 October 1909 in Parke County, Indiana. Jesse & Myrtle had three children, Bernice Myrtle Clore Wright Overpeck, Fred Leslie Clore, Kenneth Russell Clore. Jesse was 64 years old when he died. His daughter Thelma died just two months after he remarried and was a small toddler. His son Vern died before Jesse, in May the same year, very suddenly in his sleep from a Coronary Thrombosis (blood clot). Effie and their three children were still living when he died. Effie never remarried. Their son Fred died in 1968. Effie passed away in 1977, and the two remaining children died one year apart in 1985 and 1986.
