Phyllis Calaprice, 67, died Friday, 16 January 2015. Born in the Bronx, New York, the daughter of Isidor & Betty Grossman, she attended Taft High School and Bronx Community College, before working as a secretary at the Empire State Building. On 20 December 1975, she married Vito Calaprice of Utica. She is survived by her husband; children, Martin & Yanerys Calaprice and Melissa & Charles Benanti; and granddaughter, Sofia. Her funeral was held at the Cure of Ars Roman Catholic Church, Merrick, Long Island, New York, with interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale.
