MRS. RAY EAGAN CLAIMED BY DEATH
Mrs. Ray Eagan, 40, died at 8:30 o'clock Friday night after a two weeks' illness. Her home was at 1216 West Oklahoma avenue.
Mrs. Eagan was born in Caldwell Aug. 26, 1903, and came to Arkansas City in 1920 from Kansas City. She was married in Newkirk [OK] Sept. 16, 1921. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge, Ladies of the Moose, Ladies' Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, Mistletoe lodge and Clover leaf club. Mrs. Eagan was preceded in death by one child, Jeannine Eagan.
Surviving relatives are her husband; her father, A.G. Holdredge of Arkansas City; her mother, Mrs. Stella Fishbaugh of Arkansas City; two daughters, Mrs. betty parrish and Miss Verna Eagan, both of Arkansas City; four sons, Maurice, Jack, Lowell and Gerald Eagan, all of Arkansas City; three brothers, Harold Holdredge of Abilene, Tex., Virgil holdredge, who is stationed with the navy at Washburn college in Topeka, and Ronald Holdredge of Arkansas City; a sister, Mrs. Oscar Seery, Canton, O. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
