Bill was my best friend. I was there when he bought the Harley that he had wanted for so many years. He rode his Smokey Gold colored Road King every chance he got ~ he went to Daytona and Sturgis for bike week, once he headed to the store for a loaf of bread and ended up going on a Toys for Tots run on the other side of the state. He was always up for a road trip and I was honored to be able to make a lot of those trips with him. Bill was a good man, a great friend and always had time to listen and to help anyone that needed him.
On January 23, Bill's friends rode their motorcycles and other friends drove cars on a ride to Lake Okachobee in memory of Bill. At the lake, kind words and goodbyes were said and roses were placed in the lake.
