Mr. Acquafredda was born in New York City to Concetta and Francis. He served on the New York City District Council of Carpenters, and was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lindenhurst, N.Y. He was also a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Goodyear.
Mr. Acquafredda is survived by his wife, Denise; three daughters, Angela and Maria Acquafredda, and Eleena Rubio; one sister, Angela Acquafredda-Bell; one brother, Val; and one grandchild.
Service was held Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Central Avenue at Loma Linda Boulevard in Goodyear.
