"Maria Hutzell rather than George Hartzell The census takers wrote over Maria and it looks a little like George now, unless you really look at it. Maria's spouse died and left her with Harriet, and Harriet's husbands, first Charles H. Betts, then later Edwin Lewis. Look under Gender, it says F. Submitted by familytreeproject2011 on 3/14/2011"
There is a death record for Maria Sexton Hutzell b Dec 23 1858 d Feb 26 1932 burial Hillside Cem with the informant being Mrs. Edwin L. Lewis.
Franklin died of Typhoid fever after being ill for 14 days. He was married at the time and his occupation was "Manufacturer".
