Birth: Jan. 4, 1894
Poolville
Parker County
Texas, USA
Death: Feb. 20, 1984
Stockton
San Joaquin County
California, USA

Effie died at the age of 91. She married James Addison Bradley on September 22, 1912 in Poolville, Tx - Parker Co. and they had 11 children.
They divorced and she took the youngest of the 11 children. She later moved to California with her children where she lived and died in Stockton, CA.
My mother Derlene Doloris Short McCullin Whitman is her grand daughter.
She lived with her daughter Gladys until Gladys died and then Gladys son Darren Lawley cared for Effie until her death.
Effie's mother was Mary Matilda Erwin and her father was Joseph Newton Erwin
Her mother and father were second cousins once removed.

We have a long history of the Erwin's, they are scattered all over the world. We come from great people.
Here is a website dated to 1908 from as early as it can go. My book which I have copies of and is in the Weatherford library (Erwin Ancestors and Descendants) carries it on. As of Nov 7, 2013 I need to update the book alot of births, marriages, divorces and deaths have happen since I wrote it. I will try to get on this as soon as I can, if you have information to add, please email me.

Effie and James divorced when my grandmother Grace was young and she helped raise the younger children with her father, the older children and grandmother Effie moved out to California.
I remember my great grandmother had a beautiful white cat,as seen in the photo of her and she had a beautiful flower garden. I met her when I was 11, back in 1980. She was a petite woman and very loving and christian.
I have dedicated myself to finding her heritage and what a find I have recieved. We come from a long line of love and royalty and I hope that the generations after us continue on with the work I have put into this.
We all deserve to be remembered.
With love Raine Raine
