Bonham-Funeral services for James Leroy LaMothe, age 54 of Bonham, who died Thursday at his residence, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Cooper-Sorrells Chapel, conducted by Rev. Dickie Golden and Rev. James Henry, under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home of Bonham.
Mr.LaMothe was born October 1, 1935 in Weatherford, the son of James V. LaMothe and Alma Rene Williams. He married Tempie Nell Duncan on September 3, 1955 in Pecos.
He was employed at General Cable for 27 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Bonham where he served as a deacon. He was also a Mason and a member of the Grove Hill Lodge in Leonard. He was an Eastern Star member in Ector.
Mr. LaMothe is survived by his wife; one daughter, Tammy Skrehart of Arlington; two sons, Ricky LaMothe of Kingston, Washington and James (Jay) LaMothe of Long Beach, California; his mother, Alma LaMothe of Savoy and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening at 7 p.m.
