Son of Earl & Rena Glazier, Dr. Bob Glazier joined the chemistry department at Washburn University in Topeka, KS, in 1963 as an assistant professor and retired as a professor in 1993. He continued to serve under a part-time appointment as a teaching professor emeritus until May 1999. He also was faculty adviser to Washburn pre-med students and held summer teaching positions at the University of Nebraska, The University of Kansas, University of Puget Sound and for the Crossroads Africa project in Kenya. He taught at Alderson-Broaddus College, Nebraska Wesleyan and Kalamazoo College before he took a position at Washburn University. He is survived by a sister, Barbara Snyder, of Melrose, MA.
He was not only a scientist but a great reader of Victorian novels.
