Professional Basketball Player. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he played at the forward position for five seasons (1973 to 1978) in the National Basketball Association, with the Golden State Warriors and Chicago Bulls. He was a member of the 1974-1975 NBA Champion Warriors Team and averaged 6.9 points per game during that post season. After playing collegiate basketball at Cincinnati, Dickey appeared in 321 regular season NBA games, scoring 1,962 points with 1,575 rebounds. He died of complications from a stroke.
