Professional Football Player. Born James Richard Katcavage in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He played at the defensive end and tackle positions for thirteen seasons (1956 to 1968) in the National Football League with the New York Giants. His notable career highlights include being a member of the 1956 NFL Championship Giants Team, selection to six NFL All Pro Teams (1959, 1961 to 1964 and 1966) and three Pro Bowls (1961 to 1963). After playing collegiate football at Dayton, he was selected by the Giants in the 4th round of the 1956 NFL Draft. During his NFL career, Katcavage appeared in 165 regular season games.
