Her maternal grandparents were James Oglesby and Susanna Crozier. Sarah was first married to George Wesley Kett on 16 January 1895 in Comber, Tilbury East, Kent Co., Ontario. To this union were born four children; Hazel J. Kett, Percy Allen Kett, George Beasel Kett and Earl Roy Kett. George died at 16 months of age but the other children lived to maturity. Sarah's second husband was Harry W. Boughner and they were married on 23 March 1909 in Detroit, Michigan.
