Sally A. Adams Passed away on Sunday, March 30th, 2008. She was born in Port Angeles, WA, on May 27th, 1935, and was the only child of Dor and Esther Hurskainen. In her youth, she enjoyed many a camp-out and fishing trip with her mom and dad on Hood Canal and Westport. She graduated from Renton High School in 1953, and married Elton Ray Adams while working at Western Electric in Seattle. She was a proud member of the Auburn Unit American Legion Auxiliary #78. She also served as La Petite Chapeau of the 8 & 40 division of the Auxiliary. She enjoyed her volunteer efforts at the USO at SeaTac Airport for the past 20 years. She spent her last years at Wesley Terrace in Des Moines, WA, where she made many friends. She will be greatly missed as a mother, grandmother, and all around social butterfly. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991. Survivors include: son Mark (Candace Cardinal) Adams, her only granddaughter, Madison Adams, whom she adored, as well as daughter Karen Adams, daughter Marilee Adams, son Elton Ray (Collette) Adams, Jr. Services will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery, 18600 S.E. 240th, Kent, WA, on Friday, April 4th, 2008 at 10 a.m. Reception will follow at Veterans Memorial Park, located at 405 "E" St. N.E. in Auburn, WA.
