Philip Stanly Adams beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and son passed into the loving arms of the lord on February 8th 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Tacoma, WA on July 19th 1950. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jeanne, his son Philip, grandchildren Andrew Adams and Zoey Newman, sisters Jane Fuller, Kristie Cannon, and brother Jesse "Merle" Adams. He was preceded in death by his loving daughter Tracy Ann and his parents Jesse and Christine Adams. One of his many proudest accomplishments was his membership in the IBEW Local Union 76 an electrical brotherhood of which he spent 35 years. Phil was an avid fisherman, boater, and loved the Puget Sound. His smoked salmon was his specialty and he usually had a little "stashed" away for those special get-togethers with the family. He always had a great fish story about the "one that got away." Phil's giving and selfless ways meant that he was always there to lend a hand or help family and friends when the need arose. He will be greatly missed. Memorial Services will be held at the Valley Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home on Saturday February 17th at 10:00 AM. Immediately following there will be a reception to remember and honor Phil in the Willows Room at Mountain View Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Phil's name.
