"Jemima" was the wife of Noah Markland. They were married in 1825. She must have died when her daughter Mattie was born 1844. Noah married secondly Rebecca Laird and had two more children. Noah's resting place is unknown at this time (Mar 2018).

They had children: Jesse (1827-1849); Leander (1828-1857); Mary Jane (1830-1910); James (1833-1923); William (1835-1872); Charles (1837-); Francis M (1838-1912); Martha "Mattie" (1844-1924).
