OBITUARY :
MRS. AMANDA ADDLESBERGER died, Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the home of her son, William Addlesberger, West North street from a complication of diseases, aged 78 years, 9 months and 16 days.

She was taken ill, May 15, and her condition was considered serious from that time on. Previous to that her health had been unusually good Mrs. Amanda (Mort) Addlesberger was born in Waynesboro, the daughter of David and Mary (Hagerman) Mort.

Following her marriage to John Addlesberger, formerly of this place, she moved to Ringgold, where she lived until the past three years, which were spent in the home of her son. She survived her husband 16 years.

She was a member of the Reformed Mennonite church.

Surviving are the following children Benjamin Addlesberger, West Fourth street, Frank Addlesberger, Ringgold William Addlesberger, West North street, Mrs. David Baer and Mrs. Frank Hughes, both of North Broad street, Mrs. Charles Danforth, Baltimore; Mrs. Jacob Creager, Ringgold, Mrs. Omar Justice, Ringgold street, one brother and one sister, William Mort, Hagerstown, Mrs. Nancy Zimmerman, Park street.

She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services, Thursday, 2 p.m., at the residence of William Addlesberger, West North street, conducted by Bishop Jacob Lehman, Stoufferstown. Interment in Burns Hill cemetery.
