SHIPPENSBURG -- Charles Adelman, 78, of 6231 Timberland Drive, died Sunday morning, Nov. 30, 2003, at home.
Born Jan. 6, 1925, in Johnstown, he was a son of the late Adam and Caroline Matern Adelman.
Mr. Adelman retired from the Department of the Army. He worked in the Pentagon as a contract negotiator.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy C. Adelman; a son, Rodney Lee Adelman of Arlington, Va.; two daughters, Karen A. McCoy of Oak Hill, Va., and Patricia Almond of Beckley, W.Va.; six grandchildren; a brother, William of Johnstown; and a nephew, James Adelman.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, two sisters and a brother.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown. The Rev. Robert Wagner will officiate.
Viewing will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg.
