Harold Abbott, 64, of 1516 Archer Ave., was dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital at 11:17 p.m. Saturday. He was a native of Pittsburgh where he was a life insurance salesman, but had lived here nine years. He retired in 1940.
He was a World War I veteran and member of the American Legion Anthony Wayne Barracks No. 30, Elmer Pond DAV Post, and the 13th Engineers No. 513 of Chicago.
Surviving are his wife, Marguerite; a brother Raymond J., West Newton, PA.; his father Ell, St. Perersburg, Als., and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Gustafson, St. Petersburg.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, Dr. W. J. Ratz officiating.
