He was a World War I veteran and member of the American Legion Anthony Wayne Barracks No. 30, Elmer Pond DAV Post, and the 13th Engineers No. 513 of Chicago.
Surviving are his wife, Marguerite; a brother Raymond J., West Newton, PA.; his father Ell, St. Perersburg, Als., and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Gustafson, St. Petersburg.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, Dr. W. J. Ratz officiating.
