LAKEWOOD -- Christine E. Santa Barbara Aidale, 94, died Thursday (June 8, 2000) at Brick Hospital in Brick.
Born in Plainfield, she lived there before moving to Lakewood in 1984.
She was a past president of the Rosary Society of St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Plainfield.
Her husband, Patrick J. Aidale predeceased her in 1977.
Surviving are one daughter, Patricia J. Powers of Brick; three grandchildren, Darlene Chernoff of Virginia; Patrick Powers of South Carolina and Maureen Powers of Brick; and four great-grandchildren, Brandyn Powers, Andrew, Scott and Jennifer Chernoff.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West Eighth St., Plainfield followed by a noon funeral Mass at St. Bernard's Roman Catholic Church in Plainfield. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
