WILLIAM E. ABELL
William Edward (Billy) Abell of Hollywood died Aug. 31 at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C.
He was the husband of Lillian Knott Abell and the son of the late George Claude and Lelia Catherine Wilkinson Abell.
Also, the brother of Mrs. Oswald A. Bowles, Sister Loise Stanislaus, the late Horace Abell, Lelia A. Hanobeck, Mrs. Regina A Thompson and Robert W. Abell.
Mr. Abell worked for 35 years on the Maryland State Road Commision as a heavy equipment operator.
Prayers were said Sept. 2 at 8 p.m. at the Mattingley FuneralHome.
Mass of Christian Burial was offered at 11 a.m. at St. John's Church in Hollywood . Interment was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Dick Clark. Junior Russell, Abell Norris, William Gatton, Teeny Hayden and Fred Greenwell.
