Nathan Dale Chupp 95, of Zionsville died September 4, 2007. Nathan was born August 27, 1912 in Jasper County, Indiana to Nathan O. & Bessie Pearl Parks Chupp; they preceded him in death along with his son, Nathan William Chupp. Nathan was a graduate of Shortridge High School. Mr. Chupp worked as a manager at Kroger for over 20 years. He also was an insurance agent with Prudential for over 20 years. He was a former member and Sunday School teacher at Whitestown Missionary Baptist Church. Nathan was also an ordained minister. Mr. Chupp is survived by his wife, Virginia M. Chupp; his children, Raymond Chupp, Barbara Hamke, Shirley Wachlin, Carolynne Bare, and Marolynne Hammond; his brothers, Leland and Richard Chupp; his sister, Carol Creager; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm, Friday, September 7, 2007 at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center, Zionsville. A funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Salem United Methodist Church, Zionsville. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
