Mildred I. “Millie” Baker, 84 of Effingham, passed away at 10:48 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at H.S.H.S. St. Anthony Memorial Hospital in Effingham.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 15, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Effingham with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham with a 4:00 p.m. parish wake service. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony Schools in Millie’s honor.

Millie was born February 7, 1932, the daughter of Anthony and Clara (Kollmeyer) Bushur. Millie was a longtime, former employee of Fifth Third Bank, an avid golfer, and a devoted member of St. Anthony Church for many years. She enjoyed many trips with her sisters, Marilyn and Diana. Millie spent most of her time with her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Millie is survived by her children, Tami (Pete) Campbell, Kathy (Bill) Overbeck, Brian (Anita) Baker and Dirk Baker, all of Effingham; eight grandchildren, Bart (Mandy) Wiedman, Josh (Kelly), Joel, and Myles Baker and Jacki, Aly, Kara and Kristen Pickowitz; two great-grandchildren, Ty and Maddox Wiedman; four brothers, Paul (Betty) Bushur of Sigel, Carl (Dorothy) Bushur of Effingham, Earl Bushur of Effingham and Robert Bushur of Stewardson; two sisters, Marilyn Lane and Diana Pullen, both of Effingham; brother-in-law, Raymond Hoelscher of Mattoon; two sisters-in-law, Madonna Bushur and Mickey Bushur, both of Effingham; many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Bushue and Loretta Hoelscher; three brothers, Arthur, James and Gerald Bushur; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Bushur and Bernice Bushur; two brothers-in-law, Clifford Bushue and Joseph Pullen.
