R. V. Akers, aged 71, died in the Woodlawn hospital, Rochester, Monday. He was taken there a week ago after he suffered a stroke of paralysis.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the F. G. Eatinger chapel in charge of Rev. L. P. Green, pastor of the Methodist church, and burial was made in the North Judson Pioneer cemetery. Survivors are two brothers, Joseph Akers, Idaho, and G. V. Akers, of North Judson, and several nieces and nephews.
