Boy is Killed by Kick of Horse
At 7 o'clock last evening the 12 year-old son of Charles Arterburn of the firm of Arterburn & Perky, was kicked by a horse and his death occurred an hour later.
The blow from the hoof of the horse struck the unfortunate boy on the left side just below the heart, and it was impossible to do anything to counteract the shock. Physicians were summoned and did their best, but they recognized the seriousness of the blow from the start and the case was seen to be probably a hopeless one.
No funeral announcement is made as yet.
