Obituary of Loftus Collamore Sr. July 15, 1940 Contractor dies at 78 Loftus Collamore Sr., 78, died at his residence, 1604 West Tenth Street, at 2 a.m., Sunday. He is survived by two sons Jamesof Benton, and Loftus Jr. of Springfield, Ill; four daughters, Miss Aileen Collamore of Little Rock, Mrs. Anna Louise McDonough of Hollis, N.Y., Mrs. Marie Buscall of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Georgia Briggs of Little Rock, and a sister,Mrs. A. V. Rogoski of Little Rock. Mr. Collamore had lived in Little Rock 72 years and was a widely known contractor. He was the contractor for the Gazette building, St. Vincent's infirmary, the Arkansas Democrat building, West Side Junior High School, and St. Edward's Church.
