Reetta married John Kirk Alexander (1840-aft. 1930) around 1871. The 1910 census states they had six children, only 2 then living. I am afraid I don't have but three names. The children I have for them were N. I. Alexander (c. 1877-?, a daughter), James Calvin Alexander (1878-1944, m. Sadie Frazier), and Lloyd Sylvester Alexander (1882-1956, m. Mayme Teague).

"Funeral Will Be Conducted This Morning From Residence.
"Mrs. Retta J. Alexander died yesterday morning at 7 o'clock at her home in Mallard Creek Township, after a prolonged illness. She was born March 11, 1848, and was therefore nearly 68 years old. She was a daughter of the late James A. Query and Isabelle York Query. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her husband, Mr. John Kirk Alexander, two sons, Messrs. James C. and Floyd S. Alexander, and one half-sister, Mrs. T. N. Steele of Mooresville. The funeral will be conducted this morning at 11 o'clock at the residence by Rev. W. R. McCalla, and the interment will take place at Sugar Creek.
"On January 5 of last year, Mrs. Alexander fell, sustaining the fracture of one leg, and as a result was confined to her home thereafter. For many years she had been a member of the Presbyterian Church and was deeply beloved for her many beautiful qualities of character."
Obituary thanks to Jane M. Howard.
