WEST, GLADYS ESTELLE MOORE A memorial service for Gladys West, 94, will be Saturday, October 6, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Gateway Church of the Nazarene in Murrieta, Calif. (23560 Jefferson Ave.), preceded by a 10:00 a.m. graveside service at El Camino Memorial Park, 9450 Carroll Canyon Rd., San Diego. Gladys, a longtime resident of National City, was retired from the County of San Diego, and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Chula Vista. She died Thursday, September 27, 2012, with family at her side in Temecula, Calif. She is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline J. Logston of San Diego, Geraldine L. Gauch and Nancy J. Carlton both of Temecula; one sister, Miriam Irwin (99) and one brother, Lester Moore (96) both of Abilene, KS. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Jarrill West, and her two sons, Perry L. West and Jarrill E. West.
