Susan had red hair and green eyes and had been a beautiful Abyssinian show cat. When she retired from the show ring, we adopted her and she gave us many happy and amazing moments. She was Cagney's (dog) constant companion until her death (Susan's) at 18 years young. Cagney kissed her goodbye immediately after she passed away at home. Susan always let Cagney clean her face daily, but when she would get soaked from Cagney licking her so much at a session, she would smack her and run off. Her body is buried in the back yard in Santa Ana, California, but her spirit is still with me.
