JANESVILLE---Mary Henning, age 95, of 1616 S. Willard Ave., died on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at Golden Haven, Janesville. She was born on Jan. 12, 1911, in Kentucky and was the daughter of Zenus and Sallie (Allen) Clark. Mary married James Henning and he preceded her in death in 1976. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, and enjoyed bowling, gardening and cooking.
She is survived by her 3 children: Anna (Robert) Rasmussen of Reedsburg, Sally (Dave) Shannon of Edgerton and Gary (Betty) Henning of Richland Center; 21 grandchildren, including a special granddaughter and companion, Vicki Shannon;
56 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 4 sons: James, Ralph, Larry and Thomas Henning; and 2 granddaughters.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, at SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME with Fr. James Kuhn officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME.
