Margaret Agnes Allen, age 82, St. Cloud, MN passed away quietly on March 4, 2002 at St. Benedict's Care Center, St. Cloud.
Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 7, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Benedict's Care Center Chapel, St. Cloud. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2002 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, and from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at St. Benedict's Center Chapel on Thursday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Margaret Allen was born on December 31, 1919 in Baltimore, MD to William and Agnes (Shoemacher) Pick. She married Donald W. Allen on March 28, 1946 in Baltimore, MD. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper in Baltimore, MD, and at the Germain Hotel in St. Cloud. She was involved in church groups and PTA. Margaret enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts. Margaret was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Donald, of St. Cloud; daughter, Grace (James) Boelz of Wausau, WI; sons, Donald E. (Imelda) Allen of St. Cloud, Charles (Patricia) Allen of Bemidji, Bruce Allen and Margaret Rivard of New Richmond, WI; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lucille Chiles.
Memorials are preferred to St. Benedict's Center Senior Community.
