My Great Grandmother was born into a mixed religious home with her Father being a methodist minister, and her Mom a quaker. Her parents went to church seperately. In her later life Lucile embraced the quaker religion. Lucile raised my grandmothers son (from her first marriage) Eugene talbert Pippin until she died in 42. As a young woman she owned a milliner shop in wichita kansas. I think she especially enjoyed making hats. Her hats were lovely and I am sure they sold well. she married leonard B coffey and they made their life in Buffalo OK. before 1920 they moved to Modesto Calif. My Grandmother Bennice lucile Coffey and myself Donna Lucile Williams rogers are named for her
