Macomb, OK-Hunt, Hazel Helen, 90, died Saturday. Graveside services 2 p.m. Wednesday, Mars Hill Cemetery (Cooper, Tecumseh).
She was born June 6, 1918, in Macomb to Charles Elmer and Louisa Jeffery (Goss) Patten. She attended Hope School.
On Dec. 21, 1935, she married Haskell "Hack" Hunt in Tecumseh. Mr. Hunt prececed her in death on May 9, 1986.
Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker. Along with her husband, they owned and operated a store, H. H. Hunt Grocery Station, in Macomb for 14 years. She and her husband also operated a farm.
She loved to sew, cook , bake pies and gardening.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Locky Ellis, Edith Alkire and Edna Snodgrass and three brothers, John Patten, Willis Patten and Henry Patten.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Jaqueta and Glen Nix of Shawnee, Joleen and Ivan Hatler of Macomb, and Twana and Gene Nadeau of Earlsboro; son, Max and Jolene Hunt of Seminole; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Wheeler of Prineville, Ore.; cousin, Buford Patten of Miller, Mo
