Funeral services for Mr. Harvey will be Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Hunter Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Smith officiating. A eulogy will be given by Dr. April Hampton Smith. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the service time. Interment will be at Jones Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Harvey, age 72, of Watertown, died Sunday evening, Feb. 2, 2014 at his residence. Born in Statesville, he was the son of the late Thomas Woodrow and Carmine Thompson Harvey.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Harvey; his wife, Joan; and a brother-in-law, Carl Saddler.

Kenneth was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He was a 1961 graduate of Watertown High School and served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from the Coca Cola Bottling Co.

Kenneth is survived his wife, Nancy LaFevor Harvey; sister, Dorothy Saddler, of Statesville; his niece, Tiffany Hampton; and numerous other loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Keith and Richard Saddler, Bruce Harvey, Tony Griffith, Bryan Wrather and Kevin Hopkins.
