Charity Vianna Large was born in Michigan to John Large and his wife Emily Pope. She was the grand daughter of Joseph Large and Nancy Fugate, and William Johnson Pope and Elizabeth Ann Orcutt. Charity married William Henry "Babe" Harrison on 23 January 1884 in Hamiton County, Texas. Children born in this marriage were : Elmer Andrew (1885), Marion Oscar (1893), Adrian Orecha (1897), Augusta Inez (1899), Laura Adelpha (1901), Audrey Lewayne (1905), and Trudy Leo (1908). She was laid to rest in Senterfitt Cemetery, Lometa, Texas on FM 581.
