Mrs. Bell was born August 21, 1912, in Angelina County, Texas, the daughter of the late Jessie Mae (Turner) and T. A. Behannon. She passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at her residence.
Mrs. Bell was a loving and devoted wife of 50 years. She was retired from the purchasing department of Lufkin Industries. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Bell of Lufkin; stepdaughter, Virginia LuAnn Colak of Matten Beach, California; and her nephews and nieces who were very special to her, Don Turner of Big Sandy and Frank Morris of Los Angeles, California, Mary Beth Brooke of Arizona, Sally Hartman of Dallas and Molly Behannon of Hideaway, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Dick McKay, Joe Rich, James Wash, Marvin Slusher, Clifford Trevathan and Jim Massingill.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 516 Montrose, Lufkin, Texas 75901.
