Richard attended both South and West High Schools, where he was a standout athlete in football, wrestling, boxing, and track. Richard received numerous honors and accolades before medically retiring from Law Enforcement, in 1986. Richard went back to college, receiving his credentials and pursuing his first passion, teaching. Richard was a loved and admired teacher and coach at Wasco High School. He shared many stories, taught many of life's lessons and impacted many lives before retiring from teaching in 2000. Richard was a wonderful and generous man. Anyone fortunate enough to have met him can attest, to what a daredevil, risk taker, story teller, fighter, Hero, and larger than life role model and father figure, he was. The magnitude of impact of this great mans life is immeasurable. He touched so many lives, and helped so many people, he will truly be missed.
