BURIED AT SALEM TODAY
Mrs. J. M. Allen died at two o'clock this morning at her home near the reservior, 334 East Bluff street, after an illness of long duration. She was 34 years old and leaves four children and a husband to mourn her death. He body was laid to rest in the cemetery at Salem this afternoon by the Woodmen Circle of which organization she was a memeber. The bereaved family have the sympathy of many friends in this hour of sorrow. (Ex Sp Daily Journal)
DEATH OF MRS. JAMES ALLEN
Mrs. Molly Johnson Allen, the wife of James Allen, died at two o'clock this morning after a brief illness, at her home near the reservoir on the north hill.
Mrs. Allen was born in Vibbard and was about thiry-four years of age. She was twice married, the first time to David Piburn in 1891. He died in 1901. Four children who were born to them survive. The oldest, Clarence Piburn is one of the carriers for the Call. Her second marriage was to James Allen in 1904. Mrs. Allen is also survived by her mother, six brothers and two sisters. The funeral was held at Salem church this afternoon. (Ex Sp Daily Call)
