Following a long illness, Mrs. Elvira Banks, widow of the late Matthew Banks, died at 5:15 a.m. today at the home of her son, N. Howard Banks of Ninth Avenue, Beaver Falls. She was born in Karnes City, but had been a resident of Beaver Falls and Beaver County for the last 47 years. She was a life-long member of the United Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Banks is survived by two sons, Harry Banks of Patterson Heights and N. Howard Banks, at whose home she died, and two daughters, Mrs. Theodore Schoeller of McKeesport and Mrs. A. W. McGaffick of Beaver Falls. Two sisters and two brothers also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the home of N. Howard Banks on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Dr. Willard H. Patterson, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church, in charge. Burial will be in Beaver Cemetery.
