Stephen A. Babiuch, Sr., 90, of Kansas City, Ks., passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012.
Mr. Babiuch was born August 15, 1921, in Kansas City, Mo. He was a Sergeant in the Army Air Force, serving in the European Campaign, during WWII, where he earned two bronze stars. Mr. Babiuch worked for Rupert Diecasting for 25 years and retired in 1983 from TWA as a machinist, after 18 years.
Stephen was a devout Catholic and an active member of the Polish American Club.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Antoinette; his son, Stephen Babiuch, Jr. (Mary), of Houston, Texas; his daughter, Carol Sadrakula (Robert) of Edwardsville, Ks.; his six grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m., Friday, July 13, at St. Joseph – St. Benedict (All Saints) Catholic Church, KCK, where friends may call beginning at 9 a.m. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, KCK. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Kansas City Hospice, 12000 Wornall Rd, KCMO 64145 or to V.A. Hospice.
