Jaime Knaus Burch was an avid Chiefs fan. She never missed a game and was a season ticket holder for 23 years. On Sunday, January 15, 2012, Jaime suddenly passed away. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Thursday, January 19, at the Cathedral of St. Peter, with burial following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, KCK. Friends may call 5-8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Joseph A. Butler & Son Funeral Home, 19th & Minnesota Ave., KCK, where the Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m.
Jaime was born October 6, 1953 in KCK to Geraldine "Jerry" Blessington Knaus and Joe Knaus. She was a 1971 graduate of Bishop Ward H.S. and a 1975 graduate of K-State. Jaime worked 14 years as the Clinical Director for Associates in Family Medicine.
Jaime was predeceased by her parents. She leaves Doug Barrow, of the home; her sisters, Patricia Knaus and Pam Asher, both KCK; two brothers, Joe Knaus, Grandview, MO, and Jack Knaus, Overland Park, KS; nieces and nephews, Jim Knaus (34), Angie Knaus (31), Andria Asher (21), Joey Asher (25), Jackson Knaus (4), Payton Knaus (9 mo) and one great-nephew, Jimmy Asher-Homan (3).
