Mrs. POSEY, who attended the High Point Baptist Church, was the daughter of the late Owen and Jane Seibers Brock, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Rubel L. Posey; one daughter, Betty Marcum; three brothers, Lang, Clarence, and Lawrence Brock; and two sisters, Ann Brock and Opal Adkins.
She is survived by three daughters: Wanda Burk and husband James of Pennsylvania; Georgia Hollyfield of Waverly, Ohio; and Letha Posey of Cleveland, Ohio; seven sisters: Edith Byrge and husband Jobby, Dicie Humphrey and husband Hobert, Dovie Ward, Geneva Tiller and husband Johnny, Nellie Billingsly, Lula Brock and husband Darrell, and Rosella Brock; one brother: CONDY BROCK and wife JEANETTE; twelve grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one special niece, Shelby Day; one special sister-in-law, Ilene Phillips; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, July 28, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiating.
