Birth: Oct. 13, 1919
Death: Jul. 7, 1942

Carlos Arturo Armijo was the son of Judge Luis Enrique Armijo and Eugenia Delgado of Las Vegas, New Mexico. He died in Cabanatuan prisoner of war camp in the Philippine Islands during WWII. Carlos had been a member of New Mexico's 200th Coast Artillery, sent to the Philippines in September 1941. It appears as though he was tranferred (as were quite a few of the 200th CA)to the 515th Coast Artillery just prior to the outbreak of the war.
